These terms govern your use of LidarRoom, an iOS application for scanning rooms, editing floor plans and exporting plans and reports. References to “we” mean the developer providing LidarRoom through its App Store listing. Contact: support@lidarroom.app.
By using the app, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms. If you cannot legally agree to these terms yourself, use the app only with the permission and supervision required by the laws applicable to you.
Room scanning requires compatible Apple hardware with LiDAR and a supported iOS or iPadOS version. Feature availability depends on your device, app version and access level. The app provides free scanning, editing, project storage and basic PNG/PDF exports. Pro adds the detailed export and reporting features identified on the paywall. Features not offered in your installed version are not included merely because a file format or feature is mentioned elsewhere.
You may use plans and exports you create for lawful personal or professional purposes. You must have permission to scan the space and to include or share any third-party content.
Scans, dimensions, areas and generated plans are estimates and may contain errors caused by device sensors, room conditions, scanning technique or editing. Independently verify important dimensions before purchasing materials or furniture, construction, property transactions or other decisions where an error could cause loss or injury. LidarRoom is not a certified survey, engineering assessment, structural inspection or guarantee of compliance with building regulations.
Pay attention to your surroundings while scanning. Do not use the app in a way that endangers you or others.
You retain your rights to your projects and the content you import or create. You grant only the permission necessary to process that content for features you request, such as saving, syncing and exporting. We do not claim ownership of your floor plans.
Projects are stored on your device and, when enabled and available, in your Apple iCloud account. Keep independent copies of important work. Deleting a synced project may affect other devices. Files already exported or shared remain under your and the recipient’s control.
LidarRoom Pro is offered through auto-renewable monthly and yearly subscriptions. Both plans provide the same Pro access while active. The paywall and Apple’s purchase confirmation show the applicable localized price, billing period and any taxes handled by the App Store. A displayed monthly equivalent for a yearly plan, if any, is explanatory: the full yearly amount is billed for the yearly period.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription.
There is no free trial unless one is explicitly shown in the offer and confirmed by Apple. Cancellation normally leaves access available until the end of the paid period. When access expires, free features remain available; existing projects and previously exported files are not made dependent on an active subscription. Creating new Pro exports requires active access.
Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used for the purchase to restore eligible access. An internet connection may be necessary to purchase, restore or refresh subscription information. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to applicable law and Apple’s policies. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights.
Our Privacy Policy explains project storage, analytics, diagnostics and purchase processing. The app uses Apple services, Adapty for subscription and paywall functionality, and Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for usage measurement and diagnostics. Those services operate under their own applicable terms and privacy notices.
You must not use the app unlawfully, infringe another person’s privacy or intellectual property, distribute malicious files, interfere with the service or circumvent purchase verification. Rights in the app’s software, branding and interface belong to their respective owners. Your license to use the app does not transfer those rights. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We aim to keep the app useful and reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every future system, error-free measurements or recovery of lost projects. Network services, iCloud and App Store services may be unavailable. Features may change with updates, subject to your statutory rights and the terms of an active paid subscription.
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without additional warranties. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from unverified measurements or lost data to the extent such a limitation is lawful. These terms do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees.
We may update these terms when features or legal requirements change and will show the new date on this page. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. If you disagree with updated terms, you may stop using the app and cancel renewal through Apple; your statutory rights remain unaffected.
